Henry Potrykus

Dr. Henry Potrykus a Senior Fellow with MARRI. For MARRI, Dr. Potrykus develops theoretical models and performs associated statistical analyses of how society works. Prior to joining MARRI, Dr. Potrykus was a Research Staff Member working at multiple Federally Funded Research and Development Centers (FFRDCs) producing studies and analyses for the executive branch of the federal government, including studies for the Office of the Secretary of Defense and the executive offices of other government agencies.

His work with MARRI involves the characterization and modeling of relationship networks, population dynamics (e.g. used in demographic and macroeconomic overlapping generations models), and their associated statistics (regressions). The former in part involves mapping out relationships involved in the major (social) tasks in life. Dr. Potrykus received a B.S. in mathematics, a B.S. in Chemical Engineering, both from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He holds an M.S. in Chemistry from the University of Chicago and a Ph.D. from the University of Texas-Austin, in Chemical Engineering.
