Steve Jobs. Charles Dickens. Babe Ruth. Each was adopted as a child and grew to live a productive and notable life.
November is National Adoption Month. Join us on Wednesday, November 9th as we celebrate the second chance that adoption offers to hundreds of thousands of children each year. Ryan Bomberger of The Radiance Foundation will address the spiritual dimensions of adoption, the eugenics resistance toward it, and the unleashing of purpose that results from adoption in his lecture, "Adopt. Be the Hope."
Ryan Bomberger has a unique perspective on life and the issue of adoption. His biological mother was raped yet chose to give him life. He was adopted as a baby and grew up in a loving, multi-racial Christian family of 15, where 10 of 13 children were adopted. With his wife, Bethany, Ryan founded the Radiance Foundation in an effort to promote and protect the inherent dignity and purpose of each person. An Emmy Award-winning Creative Professional, he has made an unexpected impact in the pro-life movement with the bold TooManyAborted.com billboard/web campaigns educating the public about the problem of abortion in the black community. Ryan and Bethany also are blessed to be adoptive parents. They have four children.
