E. Calvin Beisner, Ph.D. is a founder and national spokesman for The Cornwall Alliance for the Stewardship of Creation. A former Christian college and seminary professor, Dr. Beisner has written over 10 books and hundreds of articles on the application of Biblical world view, theology and ethics to economics, environmental stewardship and government. He has testified as an expert witness on climate policy before committees of the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives, and has delivered papers at the 2007 Conference on Climate Change at the Vatican in Rome and to the 2008 and 2009 International Conferences on Climate Change. Three of Dr. Beisner's books have established him as a leading scholar on Christian environmental ethics: Prospects for Growth: A Biblical View of Population, Resources and the Future; Man, Economy and the Environment in Biblical Perspective; Where Garden Meets Wilderness: Evangelical Entry Into the Environmental Debate.
