Dr. Brown's recent book, A Queer Thing Happened to America, chronicles the amazing transformation of America over the last 40 years and addresses the question, "Is there really a gay agenda, or is it a fiction of the Religious Right?"

Dr. Brown holds a Ph.D. from New York University in Near Eastern languages and literature. He is president of FIRE School of Ministry and is an adjunct professor at three theological seminaries. He has contributed numerous articles to scholarly publications, including the Oxford Dictionary of Jewish Religion and the Theological Dictionary of the Old Testament.
