Want to send a message to the Bathroom Bullies?

It has now been nearly a month since North Carolina Governor Pat McCrory (R) signed HB 2, the law that protects women, children and others in the state from a government imposed bathroom policy that would allow men in women’s restrooms. Despite the fact that a majority of voters support this common-sense policy, Governor McCrory and state leaders continue to receive threats from big corporations who say they will stop doing business in North Carolina unless they allow local government to impose these bizarre bathroom and locker room policies.

These changes will greatly lower the already inadequate safety standards that had been put in place when the drug was first approved by the Clinton FDA in 2000. Below this brief description and initial analysis of the changes approved by the FDA, ... (more)

by Peter Sprigg

Peter Sprigg is Senior Fellow for Family Policy Studies at Family Research Council. This article appeared in Inside Sources on April 14, 2016. Transgender activists demand that society affirm and celebrate the choices of those who identify with a gender different from their actual biological sex at birth. These demands apply to even the youngest of those suffering with gender dysphoria—children as young as three years old. However, such a position may not serve the long-term best interests of the child, either medically or ... (more)

No Phony Truces in the Battle to Block Most Anti-Life, Liberal Court in a Generation

by Ken Blackwell

Ken Blackwell is Senior Fellow for Human Rights and Constitutional Governance at Family Research Council. This article appeared in Catholic Online on April 29, 2016. While much of our attention is on the Presidential race, the looming battle over a Supreme Court nomination merits no less attention. The battle lines are clear in this nomination and the future of the Court and our Constitutional principles are at stake. Unfortunately, writing in the Wall Street Journal, former US Solicitor General Ted Olson calls for Republicans to engage ... (more)
