Macie Malone serves as the Regional Media Coordinator for Family Research Council. As a part of the Media team, she contributes to the crafting of FRC’s strategic messaging, arranges interviews for FRC spokespeople, and assists with all regional press-related projects and events. She pitches news stories to press contacts, journalists, and media organizations. She also assists in the preparation of FRC spokespeople for interviews with talking points and direction on message delivery. She represents the FRC Communications department at Media events and functions and serves as occasional booker and producer for Washington Watch Radio.
Prior to FRC, Macie attended Grove City College where she received a Bachelor of Science in Marketing Management with a minor in Studio Art. During her time at Grove, she gained experience as a filmography and photography media intern at a Christian sports camp, interned in sales and marketing for a global manufacturer of heat processing solutions, and worked as a graphic designer and photographer for her alma mater’s Department of Marketing and Communications. She also interned at the Pennsylvania Family Institute, where she promoted PFI’s message as a videographer, blogger, social media content publisher, and researcher.
Macie enjoys old movies, books by the wise C.S. Lewis and the witty Eric Metaxas, and never turns down a game of basketball. She looks forward to a good nap about as much she does a good adventure, and enjoys spending time with her friends and family.
