FRC's Dr. Patrick Fagan to Present at FreedomFest 2010: Why God Is the Solution, Not the Problem

WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Family Research Council's Dr. Patrick Fagan, Senior Fellow and Director of the Marriage & Religion Research Institute (MARRI), will participate in FreedomFest 2010 at Bally's Event Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. Dr. Fagan will serve as a star witness during a debate between Dinesh D'Souza and Steven Landsburg entitled "Religion on Trial: Is God the Problem?" He will make a presentation that will demonstrate how society benefits from religious influences.

Dr. Fagan will present twice during the conference. He will first present at the debate on Friday, from 5 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. Pacific Time. Fagan will then present on Saturday from 2:30 p.m. to 3:20 p.m. Pacific Time under the title, "Why Religious People Do Best in America."

FreedomFest is an annual festival where free minds meet to celebrate great books, great ideas and great thinkers in an open-minded society. The event runs from July 7 to 10. It is independent, non-partisan and not affiliated with any organization or think tank. It began in 2002.
