Bill Wichterman is Senior Legislative Advisor at Covington & Burling LLP. Prior to joining Covington, Bill was Special Assistant to President George W. Bush and Deputy Director of Public Liaison in the White House.

Mr. Wichterman has more than 18 years of experience in Capitol Hill politics, working in both the Senate and the House of Representatives. Mr. Wichterman holds an M.A. in Political Philosophy from the Catholic University of America, and a B.A. from Houghton College.

He is married to Dana Wichterman, and is the father of three red-heads. He is a member of The Falls Church (Anglican), and is a native of Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
