After a successful campaign of mobilizing churches in their states to engage in the critical election season, you'd think that our state leader pastors would take a well-deserved break. Not so! A group of our field generals gathered to strategize as to how we can seize this moment of opportunity and press forward. Leading the two-day session was our own Randy Wilson, National Field Director for Church Ministries. Also participating was Dr. Kenyn Cureton, Vice President for Church Ministries, Pastor J.C. Church, Bruce Lau, Dean Nelson, and members of our field team.
In my conversation with these pastors, I stressed the narrow window of opportunity we have to help make positive change with the new presidential administration and the urgency of keeping the church engaged. These leaders not only made the commitment to stay in the battle, but developed strategies to recruit other pastors and how best to deploy them to move the moral needle in their respective communities and states.
If you're a pastor or would like to get yours involved in this exciting season, check out Watchmen on the Wall here -- and take your church to a new level of cultural engagement!
