What do fish have that Californians don't? Democratic support! Hello, I'm Tony Perkins of the Family Research Council in Washington, D.C. In the Central Valley, fish aren't just getting the benefit of the doubt -- they're getting the benefit of the drought! With water at its lowest levels ever, farmers in one of the richest agricultural areas in America are panicked. But when the House introduced a bill to divert millions of gallons of water to the parched land, liberals pitched a fit because it jeopardized the habitat of the delta smelt. Like most conservatives, Speaker John Boehner was shocked anyone would put "fish over families." Apparently, the Left would rather destroy crops and jobs than put people above animals. Meanwhile, these same people stand by while innocent children are killed in the most vulnerable habitat in America: the womb. The Left shudders to think what it's like for those poor fish. But that's just a drop in the ocean compared to the millions of children caught in the nets of "choice."
