Even the freezing temperatures can't explain why some Christians are getting the cold shoulder. Hello, I'm Tony Perkins of the Family Research Council in Washington, D.C. At Bowdoin College in Maine, you have to violate your beliefs to teach them! That's what Robert Gregory and his wife found out when they refused to sign a non-discrimination agreement. The couple, who, for years, had been advisors to a Christian fellowship group on campus, were fired. According to Bowdoin officials, no one with a biblical view of sexuality should be able to minister to students -- especially if they're views weren't politically correct. In a statement, the dean said the school didn't really know the people who were spending so much time with students. In this case, all they need to know is that these are principled, God-fearing people who deserve the same freedom these kids are learning about in class. When it comes to religion, these colleges are supposed to be teaching critical thinking -- not banning it!
