Barronelle Stutzman may be a florist, but she isn't wilting under pressure. Hello, I'm Tony Perkins of the Family Research Council in Washington, D.C. If anyone's planting doubts about same-sex "marriage" in America, it's the owner of Arlene's Flowers. After politely declining to arrange flowers for a same-sex "wedding," the shop is now the target of not one--but two--lawsuits. It didn't matter that Barronelle had served homosexuals--or even employed them. The ACLU thinks Arlene's should embrace their cause--even if it violates her conscience. Fortunately, it'll take a lot more than liberal bullies to scare Arlene's away. And to prove it, Barronelle's teaming up with ADF to counter-sue the state. Of course, when Washington debated same-sex "marriage," supporters argued that legalizing it wouldn't hurt anyone. Tell that to the florists, the bakers, the candlestick makers, and everyone else the Left is telling: "conform or be punished!" It's time to protect businesses by promoting marriage. Otherwise, Arlene's Flowers won't be the only ones trying to weed out harassment!
