Liberals always have their own version of the truth--and now they have their
own version of God's too! Hello, I'm Tony Perkins of the Family Research Council in Washington, D.C. There was already a rainbow in the Bible, and thanks to a ridiculous new translation, there's one on it too. It's part of what publishers are calling the first "gay Bible." An anonymous team released the translation, which supposedly makes "homophobic interpretations impossible." Editors named the book the "Queen James Bible" and promise that overhauling verses make it less offensive. Nobody can use the book to "incorrectly condemn God's LGBT children," they say. As the ad puts it, "You can't choose your sexuality, but you can choose Jesus. Now you can choose a Bible too." The publisher lists "God" as the author--which is pretty ironic since He also authored something called "human sexuality"--and no amount of liberal Bible translators can change that. The editors might realize their mistake if they stopped twisting it and instead turned to it.
