When dentists say "open wide," they aren't talking about your mouth -- they're talking about your wallet! Hello, I'm Tony Perkins of the Family Research Council in Washington, D.C. The new health care law has some teeth, and it's about to affect yours! According to tax experts, parents won't have much to smile about this year when the orthodontist's bills come due. That's because ObamaCare is making everything more expensive -- including your children's braces. Thanks to a new tax rule, costs are inadvertently rising on all kinds of medical services. And that means braces, which are already as much $7,000 could cost hundreds more in out-of-pocket costs. But that's not all. The 35 million Americans who use flexible spending accounts won't be any better off. Thanks to ObamaCare, the government's capping the pre-tax limit at $2,500. That makes stashing away money to pay for braces difficult. And if you thought you could deduct the costs, ObamaCare makes that harder too. Pretty soon, we'll all be bracing for changes -- whether we're in the dentist chair or not!
