Tragedy can leave a lasting impact. For Archie Manning, the impact has led to defining his character and focusing on what's important: the Family. Hello, I'm Tony Perkins with the Family Research Council in Washington. ESPN recently aired a documentary called "The Book of Manning," which focused on the football legacy of the Manning family. Archie Manning, who lost his father at a young age, devoted himself to being a good father for his children while playing professional football for the New Orleans Saints. His three sons came first, and there is no better legacy than ensuring that he was a positive, humble role model for his family. "We've just been blessed. There are always hills there in raising kids, and we've had ours. We've just been fortunate to get through them," said Manning. If there is one thing for certain, the best legacy that any of us can leave is being devoted to your family.
