In the burger business, people knew ObamaCare would ketchup eventually. Hello, I'm Tony Perkins of the Family Research Council in Washington, D.C. The owners at Five Guys are in a pickle. And they aren't the only ones. Restaurants all across America are frying customers with the news that the President's health care law means higher prices for food. Mike Ruffer, a Five Guys' franchise holder, said, "Any added costs are going to have to be passed on." With eight Carolina stores, that adds up to about $60,000 in new expenses. Like a lot of businessmen, Mike says he's "in a holding pattern." U.S. Senator Ted Cruz is trying to change that. The Texas Freshmen is hoping to reignite the debate with an amendment defunding ObamaCare. He understands that the law does more than super-size prices for burger lovers--it also erodes jobs, freedom, patient care, and conscience rights. Restoring the economy starts with repealing ObamaCare. As the owners of Five Guys will tell you, that'd be the real hamburger helper.
