If a new dance video is any proof, there are lots of boogie men at the IRS. Hello, I'm Tony Perkins of the Family Research Council in Washington, D.C. Apparently, the IRS wasn't too busy harassing conservatives to cut a rug! As if things weren't bad enough at the IRS, someone caught employees on tape getting taxpayer-funded dance lessons! The footage is from one of the lavish conferences Congress is investigating. When attendees weren't perfecting their line dance, they were kicking back in presidential suites, taking in baseball games, or sipping government-sponsored cocktails. The report, called "Collected and Waste: The IRS Spending Culture and Conference Abuses," is enough to make Americans' heads spin--IRS heads roll. In just three years, the agency spent $49 million on 220 conferences for employees. So much for that new era of fiscal responsibility! It's time to get serious about abolishing the IRS and reforming the tax code. If we don't, there's no telling how much of money the IRS will waltz away with!
