Think you're a cultural throwback because your views on natural marriage have not changed? I've got news -- you're not alone. Hello, this is Tony Perkins with the Family Research Council in Washington. A national survey released after the Supreme Court's decisions on marriage reveals that not all of America is on the bandwagon of redefining marriage. While the survey, by George Barna, reveals a shift in support of same-sex marriage has taken place over the last ten years, with a slight majority now Ok with the legal redefinition of marriage, only 37% think same-sex relationships are morally right. The survey shows something else of interest, Bible-believing Christians who seek to live out their faith have actually grown in their stand for truth. Support for special rights for people based upon sexual behavior has declined over the last ten years among Evangelicals from 12% in 2003 to 5%. The support for defining marriage as the union of one man and one woman has increased from 90% to 93%. The reality is that those who are anchored to the truth will not be tossed around by the winds of political correctness.
