At next year's Olympics, it looks like the U.S. is carrying the torch for the liberal agenda. Hello, I'm Tony Perkins of the Family Research Council in Washington, D.C. The U.S. Olympic team is training its athletes to fight for more than gold. Believe it or not, the U.S. Olympic Committee is telling its team that it has to support pro-gay policies to compete in the Sochi Games. USOC CEO Scott Blackmum told reporters the Committee changed their policy to protest a new Russian law that bans the promotion of homosexuality to kids. "... It's important for [the U.S.] to emphasize that... the law is inconsistent with the fundamental principles of the Olympic movements. To bring that point home, our board voted to amend [our] code of conduct to include... sexual orientation in our own non-discrimination policy." Funny, the U.S. didn't see the need to protest China's one-child policy in 2008 or its awful record on human rights. Obviously, the only thing meddling in this Olympics is political correctness.
