Taxpayers may be losing their voice in Washington, but transgenders are sure finding theirs! Hello, I'm Tony Perkins of the Family Research Council in Washington, D.C. Based on the latest grants from the NIH, the President's priorities are as confused as some people's genders! While the Obama administration says it's too poor to staff airports or White House tours, it continues to fund projects that should've never been considered in the first place. The latest example is $152,000 program that teaches cross-dressers to sound more like the gender they "identify" with. That way, researchers say, more transgenders would be taken seriously. But if NIH wants taxpayers to take them seriously they should start articulating a new message and stop wasting taxpayer dollars in the name of political correctness. While $152,000 may not seem like a lot, it's just another example of this administration's hypocrisy. If President Obama wants to fund "voice therapy," then he should stop paying lip service to spending reform!
