Women's rights have changed -- but their goals sure haven't. Hello, I'm Tony Perkins with the Family Research Council in Washington. These days, women can hold just about every job there is. But the title most of them want is "wife." Just because half of Millennials grew up in broken homes doesn't mean they've given up on marriage. If anything, Pew Research found, they place even more importance on it. About 69% of young men and women say that having a successful marriage is "important" to them. In fact, 78% of female high school seniors say that having a good marriage is one of their biggest goals. That's a big bump from the 90s, when young people were more ambivalent. And according to our research, marriage is just about the best decision you can make. People who tie the knot have better relationships with their kids, they earn more, they're healthier -- they even look younger! So what are you waiting for? Head over to frc.org and start appreciating the state of our unions!
