Weekend Edition - February 10, 2018
On this weekend edition of "Washington Watch with Tony Perkins" member of the House Education and the Workforce Committee and Chairman of the Subcommittee on Health, Employment, Labor, and Pensions, Rep. Tim Walberg (R-Mich.), was here to highlight GOP efforts to roll back Obama-era education policy with the Promoting Real Opportunity, Success, and Prosperity through Education Reform (PROSPER) Act. Dr. Beth Green, Program Director of Cardus Education, joined Tony to discuss new research revealing millennial-aged adults that attended evangelical protestant schools are more likely to marry and have children. Also, newly confirmed Ambassador at Large for Religious Liberty, Sam Brownback, joined Tony to highlight his duties as ambassador and how he will promote religious liberty internationally.
