Weekend Edition - June 25, 2016
On this weekend edition of “Washington Watch with Tony Perkins” FRC’s Senior Fellow for Human Rights and Constitutional Governance, former Secretary of State for Ohio and U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Human Rights Commission, Ken Blackwell, joined Tony with his expert analysis regarding a meeting yesterday between evangelical leaders and GOP presidential front-runner and presumed nominee, Donald Trump. Former Baton Rouge Police Chief, Greg Phares, was here to discuss how progressives have shifted the talking points from the terrorists attack in Orlando, to simply their hopes to curb second amendment rights for law abiding citizens. Also, Former North Carolina pastor, Rep. Mark Walker, (R-N.C.) who attended the meeting yesterday joined Tony to discuss the importance of the GOP nominee’s connection to Congress during election season.
