August 7: Do you know where your candidates stand?

Greetings from FRC!

We wanted to share the following information with you from our friends at the Family Action Council of Tennessee. If you have previously received this message, please simply disregard this second contact. We did, however, want to make certain that you, your friends, and your neighbors would be aware of this very critical information.

We encourage you to join the Family Action Council of Tennessee in making your voice heard today!

The Primary Election is coming up fast . . . make an informed vote!

Do you really know what the candidates seeking your vote for state legislative offices truly believe about the issues that are important to you? We can help!

The Family Action Council of Tennessee (FACT) is once again providing you with valuable information about the legislative candidates who are running for the state House and Senate so that you can make an informed decision about who to vote for on Thursday, August 7.

Find out where candidates stand on these issues: abortion, same-sex civil unions, the Hall Income Tax, anti-bullying laws, sexual orientation and gender identity, marijuana, the constitution as a "living" document, adoption by unmarried couples, student counseling and religious liberty, and more!

FACT sent each candidate currently in a contested primary race a 13-question survey that would become our voter guide for each district, a five-question, essay-style survey that would offer more in-depth information about each candidate, the chance for each candidate to say something through a video greeting, and links to each candidate's website and/or Facebook page when available.

When you go to our Voter Education Headquarters section online, you can find out what district you are in if you are not sure. Once you know your district, you can then look for candidates by last name and by district. We only surveyed those legislative candidates with contested primaries in August.

Early voting begins Friday, July 18, so take advantage of this information now before the Primary Election.

Thank you for standing with us and the Family Action Council of Tennessee to protect and defend Faith, Family, and Freedom!
