STAND ON THE WORD WITH FRC
A TWO-YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN

TODAY'S READING: 2 Chron 29-30

TODAY'S QUESTIONS FOR REFLECTION AND DISCUSSION

1) When Hezekiah took the throne, what immediate initiatives did he set in motion to lead the people in a return to the one true God?

  1. Removed the heathen "high places" of worship, broke up the pagan pillars, and cut down the idols
  2. Reopened the Temple, cleaned out all the filth, and ordered that worship of the one true God begin again
  3. Renewed their celebration of the Passover
  4. All of the above

2) King Hezekiah invited all Israel (northern and southern kingdoms) to celebrate the Passover. What promises did he make to the northern kingdom Israelites if they would return and yield themselves to the LORD God (see 30:9)?
