Before you read another word, take a moment now to say a prayer for our nation and Family Research Council. Because of the radical, anti-Constitutional agenda of Barack Obama and the so-called Progressives, we are facing one of the greatest challenges in American history.
Make no mistake about it, despite the debacle of ObamaCare, he will become more aggressive in his mission to strip you of your religious liberty and redefine the family.
This past year President Obama has initiated several shocking efforts to strip Christian Americans of their First Amendment freedoms-especially religious freedom. He and his supporters believe that your faith should be legally confined within the walls of your church or the privacy of your home.
In other words, there is no place in America for those who wish to live by and express their Christian faith in the workplace or in ANY "public" space.
Why? There can be no other allegiance to anything higher than the Federal Government. Those who disagree with the moral dictates of the government will be punished.
So the president demands that same-sex "marriage" be legalized, abortion on demand be funded by YOU, and that you and I support his redefinition of the family-or else face punishment.
The shocking IRS scandals this past year against Christian and conservative organizations are just one small example of how this Administration is punishing those who stand in the way of his efforts to transform America.
As I have often said, religious freedom and the family are the bedrock of American society. Destroy these and you destroy our country.
Stand With FRC
In 2014, FRC will redouble our efforts to ...
Protect religious freedom in our military for chaplains and the men and women serving in our armed forces.
Compel the Department of Justice to enforce the Defense of Marriage Act and oppose further efforts by the Obama administration to destroy natural marriage.
Challenge the provisions of ObamaCare which require Christians to violate their consciences and faith by being forced to fund abortion.
Stop the Employment Non-Discrimination Act from forcing people to violate their moral and religious convictions in the workplace.
There is no quit in President Obama and his supporters. The forces arrayed against faith, family and freedom are dedicated and formidable.
That's why I am asking you to stand with FRC and help us meet our year-end financial goal of $3.2 million. It is critical that we have strong financial footing going into 2014 for the battles that lie ahead.
We still have challenge funds remaining so every dollar you give will be doubled by this challenge fund. Your gift now of any amount $50, $75, $100-even a $1,000 or more, will become worth twice as much to help FRC meet this critical goal.
Your faithful financial support is essential now more than ever to help us advance faith, family and freedom-values that make America an exceptional nation.
