FRC to Host Webcast Lecture on Sexual Risk Avoidance Education and ’War on Women’ Debate

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Family Research Council (FRC) will host Valerie Huber, president and CEO of the National Abstinence Education Association (NAEA), for a webcast lecture on Wednesday, June 4, at its Washington, D.C. headquarters.

The webcast lecture will focus on the latest attacks to mischaracterize the optimal sexual risk avoidance approach of abstinence education.

Huber previously served as the Title V Abstinence Education Coordinator for the state of Ohio, where she provided oversight and grant awards to community abstinence programs serving more than 100,000 students annually as part of the Ohio Department of Health. She is a frequent spokesperson on the topic of teen sexual health and is an expert on the history of sex education and related public policy.
