FRC’s Tony Perkins to Join San Antonio Pastors at News Conference in Support of Religious Liberty

SAN ANTONIO, TX – Tomorrow, Family Research Council (FRC) President Tony Perkins will join a news conference with San Antonio-area pastors to discuss the recent attacks on religious liberty in Texas and beyond. The news conference will be held during Watchmen on the Wall, an event in San Antonio hosted by FRC to equip pastors to stand for Christian moral values in their pulpits and communities.

Perkins will be joined at the news conference by San Antonio pastors Steve Branson and Charles Flowers; Pastor Dave Welch, one of the five pastors whose sermons and private communications were subpoenaed by Houston’s mayor; Jonathan Saenz, religious freedom attorney and president of Texas Values; and others. The news conference will be held at the TriPoint Campus of Trinity Baptist Church at 12:30 p.m. CST.
