Weekend Edition - March 5, 2016
On this weekend edition of “Washington Watch with Tony Perkins” Rep. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN), who chairs the House Select Investigative Panel on Infant Lives, is here to highlight the hearing this week discussing bioethics and fetal tissue research. FRC's Senior Fellow for Legal Studies, Cathy Ruse, joined Tony with her inside-the-court analysis of today's Supreme Court oral arguments surrounding a Texas bill that requires abortion doctors to have admitting privileges within a 30 mile radius of a hospital. Also, Senior Pastor of First Pentecostal Church of Palm Bay, David Myers, was here to discuss the win against the Brevard County School District in their effort to add "gender identity" and "sexual orientation" to the district's anti-discrimination and "equal employment" policies. This is another example that when Christians stand for our freedom to believe, the Left backs down.
