Weekend Edition - May 13, 2016
On this weekend edition of “Washington Watch with Tony Perkins” Governor Phil Bryant (R-Miss.), joined Tony to discuss their latest bill defunding Planned Parenthood in his state and the ACLU lawsuit trying to block Mississippi's bill protecting the religious freedom for people of faith. Former Minnesota Congresswoman Michele Bachmann was here with her analysis on the recent New York Times article where President Obama's deputy national security adviser, Ben Rhodes, admitted to coordinating with the mainstream media in an effort to change public perceptions on controversial actions by the White House -- the Iran deal being the main one. Also, North Carolina Lt. Governor Dan Forest joined Tony to discuss the lawsuit filed by his state today suing the Obama administration in regards to HB2. The White House had threatened to pull federal funding from the state if North Carolina didn't comply with the federal government's wishes.
