FRC to Host Author of 'Can You Be Gay and Christian?'

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Family Research Council (FRC) will host a webcast discussion by author Dr. Michael Brown on his most recent book, "Can You Be Gay and Christian?" The event will take place at noon on Wednesday, May 14 at FRC's headquarters. Dr. Brown will address questions such as why the church cannot avoid the subject of homosexuality; how Christians can respond to the subject with both love and truth; the best biblical approach to homosexuality; and a look at what Christians can expect to hear and read from gay theologians in the future.

Dr. Brown is the author of 25 books, most recently "Can You Be Gay and Christian?" He hosts the nationally syndicated talk radio show, the Line of Fire and is a recognized cultural commentator. He holds a Ph.D. in Near Eastern Languages and Literatures from New York University and serves as a visiting or adjunct professor at a number of seminaries.
