"Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind." (Romans 12:2a)

The public world we inhabit is made up of two spheres: power and authority, or politics and morality. The United States is undergoing a profound change in the sphere of authority/morality. What does this change herald for the future of America?

Come join Justin Pinkerman as he shares how Christians can be faithful witnesses and responsible citizens in light of this ongoing transformation in the sphere of authority and morality.

Justin Pinkerman is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Government at Georgetown University. He studies the phenomenon of social tyranny in American democracy, whereby cultural factions impose their norms on the rest of society by way of public opinion/sentiment rather than legislation. While at Georgetown, he has worked with Tom Farr as a research assistant for the Religious Freedom Project in the university's Berkley Center for Religion, Peace, and World Affairs. Prior to his graduate studies, Justin worked in Atlanta, Ga. for over five years in nonprofit leadership training and development organizations.
