June 2, 2015

On Tuesday's edition of "Washington Watch with Tony Perkins" FRC's Assistant to the President, Craig James, guest hosts for Tony. Founder and President of WallBuilders, David Barton, joins Craig to discuss the continued shift away from America's Christian heritage. In the wake of President Obama declaring June as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Pride Month, we need to be reminded of our Judeo-Christian founding. Also, President and Executive Director of North Carolina's Family Policy Council, John Ruston, is here with the latest surrounding Senate Bill 2 in his state. The bill was vetoed by the governor, but overridden by the state Senate. Also, senior vice president of legal services with Alliance Defending Freedom, Kristen Waggoner, joins Craig with the latest in Washington florists Barronelle Stutzman's case. ADF filed a brief yesterday in hope the Washington state Supreme Court will take her case after a lower court ruling stating she must pay penalties and attorneys' fees for declining to use her artistic abilities to design custom floral arrangements for a long-time customer's same-sex ceremony.
