On Thursday’s edition of “Washington Watch with Tony Perkins” FRC’s Vice President of Government Affairs, David Christensen joins Tony to highlight FRC Actions annual True Blue award recipients. True Blue awards are given to members who consistently vote correctly on issues of faith, family, and religious freedom. Rep. Tim Huelskamp (R-KS) is here to highlight the Marriage Protection Amendment that he’s sponsoring. The amendment would keep marriage between one man and one woman. Christians continue to be persecuted in the middle-east, we know this is a spiritual battle. Concerned Women for America President and CEO, Penny Nance is calling for a national day of prayer and fasting for those being persecuted. She joins Tony with all the information. Also, Rep. Matt Salmon (R-AZ) joins Tony to discuss the Presidents letter to Congress asking for Authorization for Use of Military against the Islamic terrorist group, ISIS.
