Tony Perkins

On Monday's edition of "Washington Watch with Tony Perkins" FRC's Assistant to the President, Craig James, guest hosts for Tony. The persecution of Christians in the Middle East continues to spread. Earlier today, Concerned Women for America hosted a panel highlighting the topic. CWA CEO and President, Penny Nance along with the Senior Vice President of the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews, Yael Eckstein, will join Craig to discuss the panel. President of National Religious Broadcasters, Dr. Jerry Johnson, is here to highlight the reality that Christians and conservatives are being pushed out of the media sphere. Dr. Johnson signed onto the letter sent to CBS asking for Bob Schieffer to apologize for his treatment of Tony -- Schieffer did not apologize over the weekend. Also, Senior Pastor of Calvary Chapel in Visalia, Bob Grenier, joins Craig to discuss a prayer breakfast Tony spoke at this morning. It is important for pastors to bring leaders in the community together for the purpose of prayer, Pastor Grenier is doing just that.  Also, FRC's Senior Fellow for Policy Studies, Peter Sprigg, is here with the latest from the Supreme Court today deciding not to take up New Jersey's ban on reorientation therapy.
