Weekend Edition - June 10, 2017
On this weekend edition of "Washington Watch with Tony Perkins" Director of Jihad Watch and bestselling author of 16 books, Robert Spencer, joined Tony to weigh in on the recent terror attacks that have taken place across the globe. Rep. Chris Smith (R-N.J.) joined Tony to give us a look at HR 390, the Iraq and Syria Genocide Emergency Relief Accountability Act, which would help persecuted religious and ethnic minorities in Syria and Iraq. House Foreign Affairs committee member Rep. Ted Poe (R-Texas) joined Tony to discuss congressional concerns about classified information being leaked and surveillance on Americans. Also, Political law attorney Cleta Mitchell joined Tony to talk about the Constitutional overstep of Sen. Bernie Sanders at the confirmation hearing of Russell Vought, the nominee for deputy director of the Office of Management and Budget, when Sanders began asking questions that likened to a religious test.
