America's soldiers, sailors, airmen, marines, and guard are being told they must not share their faith in the God of the Bible. If they do, they may be disciplined, discharged, or even court-martialed for proselytizing.
Two weeks ago, Rear Admiral William Lee courageously spoke out about his decision to violate the lawyers and regulations telling him not to give a Bible to a service member who had attempted suicide.
No one who believes in God, or has faith in Jesus Christ, can stand idly by in the face of these unprecedented attacks.
That's why I'm asking you to give now to Family Research Council's American Hero Defense Fund. Our goal is to raise at least $10,000 per day every day this week to stop these attacks on real American heroes.
We must help defend the rights of hundreds of thousands of religious men and women in our military. If their rights are stripped away, how long will it be until all of us will be forced to keep silent about our faith in the public square?
Every dollar you give to help FRC defend your values will be DOUBLED--matched dollar for dollar -- by a $70,000 grant from a generous family (who wishes to remain anonymous). But we must raise the full $70,000 to receive the matching grant.
The attacks on the rights of our military heroes is horrific. They are being told they cannot share their faith, talk about the Bible with a fellow soldier, or give a New Testament to another airman. I will be sharing more about this attack this week. Stay tuned!
With your help, FRC will challenge and counter these attacks on the First Amendment rights of our military heroes.
Thank you for standing up for America's finest!
