Biography 

J.P. Duffy

Vice President for Communications

J.P. Duffy serves as Family Research Council's Vice President for Communications. He coordinates media relations efforts, including production and distribution of news releases and op-eds, online communications, and FRC's radio programs.  As an FRC spokesman, Mr. Duffy has appeared on a variety of radio talk shows and in publications such as The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Times, The Hill, and US News and World Report.  He also served as an associate producer for FRC's national television simulcasts focused on judicial activism. 

Prior to joining FRC six years ago, he served as campaign manager and later as an aide on Capitol Hill to Congressman John Sullivan (R-OK).  In 1999, Mr. Duffy served as a member of the Youth Advisory Council in his hometown of Midland, Texas.   As a council member, his proposed proclamation for a Month of Prayer to End Abortion was signed by Midland's mayor.  Mr. Duffy is a graduate of Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Mr. Duffy lives with his wife and child in Maryland.
