Since October 2015, following the release of the Center for Medical Progress' shocking undercover videos exposing Planned Parenthood's illegal sale of aborted baby body parts, the House Energy and Commerce Committee's Select Investigative Panel on Infant Lives has been investigating the grisly practices of big abortion providers.

With the release of newly uncovered evidence, the Select Panel is now calling on the HHS to investigate the bio-medical company StemExpress for possible violation of federal law, and both StemExpress and Planned Parenthood abortion clinics for likely breaching patient confidentiality. The Select Panel is also investigating notorious late-term abortionist LeRoy Carhart for troubling reports of numerous women being seriously injured in botched abortions, and for possibly abandoning born-alive infants who survive abortions and illegally harvesting their organs.

Join FRC and Congressman Diane Black as she comes to discuss the important, ongoing work of the Select Panel to protect women and unborn babies.

Rep. Diane Black (R-Tenn.) is a member of the Select Investigative Panel on Infant Lives, as well as a member of the Congressional Pro-Life Caucus, and a rising star in American politics. Black was elected to the House of Representatives in 2010 and represents Tennessee's 6th district. She serves on the powerful House Ways and Means Committee and the House Budget Committee.

As a registered nurse, small businesswoman, and former educator, Congressman Diane Black brings a unique and dynamic perspective to her work in Congress. Besides her important work on the Select Investigative Panel, Rep. Black has authored and cosponsored many important pro-life bills in Congress, working to end federal funding of abortion and protect health care providers' rights of conscience where abortion and abortifacients are concerned. Rep. Black has also cosponsored a number of other pro-life measures including the No Taxpayer Funding for Abortion Act, the Pain Capable Unborn Child Protection Act, and the Protect Life Act.

Rep. Black and her husband of over 30 years, Dr. David Black, have three grown children and six grandchildren. They live in Gallatin, Tennessee and attend Community Church in Hendersonville.
