The Reality of Faith-Based Adoption Services
November 14, 2018 12:00 ET

Anti-faith policies on issues like abortion and same-sex marriage have led some states to start discriminating against faith-based adoption providers. These emerging threats to faith-based adoption providers are occurring at a time when the number of children being adopted in the U.S. is declining. In the wake of governmental institutions going out of their way to attack religious adoption services, it's easy to forget the great work they actually do. In this Speaker Series event, Courtney Lott will highlight a faith-based adoption service that supports families who are following the call to adopt.

Courtney Lott is both the Co-Executive Director of Faithful Adoption Consultants (FAC) and also the lead consultant. As an adoption consultant, she walks alongside adoptive families throughout their adoption journey, assisting with each step along the way as she maintains close relationships with multiple licensed agencies and attorneys. Courtney has been married for almost 15 years and has eight beautiful children both by birth and adoption. Her passion for adoption originated from her strong pro-life convictions as well as to honor the biblical mandate to care for the least of these.
