WASHINGTON, D.C. – Tomorrow, prior to the annual March For Life, Melissa Ohden will join other speakers at Family Research Council headquarters for the 12th annual ProLifeCon Digital Action Summit.

Melissa will share her story that began with a failed saline infusion abortion in 1977. Despite the initial concerns regarding Melissa’s future after surviving the attempt to end her life at approximately seven months gestation, she has not only survived but thrived. Among many other accomplishments Melissa founded The Abortion Survivors Network (ASN) which seeks to educate the public about failed abortions and survivors while providing emotional, mental and spiritual support to abortion survivors. Since ASN’s inception, Melissa has been in contact with over 209 survivors. Melissa is truly a voice for the voiceless and is dedicated to fulfilling the purpose God set out for her when he saved her from the certain death of the abortion attempt.

Melissa, along with other activists, policy experts, and legislators will be on hand to discuss the issues impacting the pro-life movement, and share practical ways to make a difference for life on blogs, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and other online platforms.
