Senior Director of Events

The Senior Director of Events is responsible for researching, planning, managing, and overseeing follow-up on all aspects of donor events and special activities for FRC.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Requires a Bachelor’s Degree, and a minimum of eight years’ related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • High proficiency in Windows environment, Microsoft Word, Excel, and database programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, coordinate, staff, organize and evaluate successful events, banquets, and meetings.
  • Ability to coordinate and supervise departmental projects and direct staff and volunteers.
  • Productive, competent and dependable individual with team spirit.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to be flexible with last-minute changes
  • Professional telephone manner
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.

The work location for this position is the Washington, DC office of FRC.
