Legislative Assistant for State and Local Affairs
Nicolas Reynolds serves as Legislative Assistant for State and Local Affairs at Family Research Council. Under the direction of the Director of State and Local Affairs, he monitors, evaluates, and tracks legislation across the 50 states. Through research and analysis, he assists in advancing state legislation that defends the dignity of the unborn, preserves religious liberty, and champions a biblical understanding of human sexuality. Nicolas coordinates the State and Local Affairs team in analyzing hundreds of state bills each year, studying legislative trends, and assisting in developing legislative strategy.
Before landing at FRC, Nicolas worked in Regent University's Office of Marketing & Public Relations and served as an intern for FRC's Government Affairs department. He received his B.A. in English with a concentration in American History from Regent University, graduating cum laude.
Nicolas is a proud Floridian who currently resides in the Metropolitan D.C. area. He enjoys hiking, studying history, and rooting for his hometown team, the Tampa Bay Lightning.
