Giving Religious Freedom a Chance
December 02, 2019
Last week, our families and loved ones came together to give thanks for our many blessings. As believers, we express gratitude most of all to our Creator and Savior. Now we are hours away from #GivingTuesday, a day dedicated to giving back to make a difference in the world.
While millions of Americans will be sowing into nonprofits and charities that resonate with their hearts, leftist activists would love nothing more than to silence and marginalize those organizations that hold to biblically grounded views.
Christian organizations, business owners, charities, and even churches are facing unrelenting pressure to hide their light under a basket. Just look at events from the last few months...
- Top elected officials in the U.S. House are calling for Family Research Council and other organizations to lose our tax-exempt status,
- Liberal activists want to weaponize the IRS against Christian nonprofits and others with whom they disagree,
- And a prominent politician publicly extended that threat to your church and any other institution that upholds biblical truth!
It is critical that FRC has the resources to defend those who come under attack for holding to the truth of Scripture, especially regarding marriage and sexuality.
Help us kick off #GivingTuesday early by joining FRC's efforts to push back against the Left's assaults on religious freedom.
Thanks to a $100,000 Challenge Match from generous friends, every gift FRC receives will be doubled dollar-for-dollar! This means your donation of $50 becomes $100; $100 becomes $200; and $500 will have the impact of $1,000. Click here to donate now -- and then spread the word on social media.
Though the cultural and political pressure to cave will increase, you have my pledge: you will never see a white flag of surrender hanging outside Family Research Council's headquarters. Through your support and God's grace, the truth will prevail in our nation.
