On September 1, Family Research Council's (FRC) daily radio program, "Washington Watch with Tony Perkins," will begin airing on Christian Satellite Network Radio (CSN Radio). CSN Radio has a long history of broadcasting great bible teaching and talk, including familiar broadcast with teachers like Alistair Begg, Dr. James Dobson, Tony Evans, Jack Graham, David Jeremiah, Greg Laurie, and Adrian Rogers.
With the addition of CSN Radio, Washington Watch with Tony Perkins is adding 385 stations in 43 states to our family of broadcasters that now include the American Family Radio Network, Bott Radio Network and other independent stations. Washington Watch now broadcasts on 757 stations reaching into 47 states. In addition to carrying Washington Watch with Tony Perkins, Monday through Friday, CSN Radio will also soon begin airing a special weekend edition of the program. Additionally, FRC's 60-second daily commentary will be heard on all 385 stations of CSN Radio and 58 additional stations with their sister network Effect Radio.
"CSN Radio listeners can now keep up with what's happening in the heart of our nation's capital -- all from a Christian perspective," said Tony Perkins, host of Washington Watch and President of Family Research Council. "They will get to know the men and women in Congress and elsewhere who are fighting to uphold faith, family and freedom."
Perkins added, "This may be one of the most critical moments in the history of our republic. Christians must be informed and equipped to be a part of solving the policy and cultural challenges of our day. This is why we are excited about our partnership with CSN Radio. My special thanks to CSN President, Shannon Scholten, and Director of Programming, Mike Stevens, who have gone to great lengths to add us to their lineup."
With this addition, Washington Watch is now heard in 47 states including Alaska and Hawaii and has a dramatically expanded presence in California and the Pacific Northwest. "We look forward to connecting with longtime partners of Family Research Council, as well as many new friends, through CSN Radio," said Perkins.
