Jody Hice
Senior Vice President
Jody Hice serves as Senior Vice President at the Family Research Council. Previously he served as the representative of Georgia’s 10th Congressional District for 8 years.
Born in Atlanta and raised in Tucker, Georgia, he earned a bachelor’s degree from Asbury College, a Master’s of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a Doctor of Ministry from Luther Rice Seminary. Jody served as a pastor in Texas and Georgia for almost 25 years, and hosted The Jody Hice Show, a conservative talk radio program for 11 years, reaching over 400 radio stations.
While in office, Jody served on the House Committee on Oversight and Reform and the House Committee on Natural Resources. In addition, at different points during his congressional tenure, he served as Ranking Member of the Subcommittee on National Security and Ranking Member of the Subcommittee on Government Operations.
He and his wife Dee Dee have been married since 1983 have two daughters and four grandchildren.
